Banana Oat Energy Bars
Ingredients
- 3 cups Rolled oats
- 3 large Ripe bananas Mashed.
- 1 cup Medjool dates Pitted and chopped.
- 1/2 cup Walnuts Chopped.
- 1/3 cup Almond butter
- 1/4 cup Maple syrup
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash bananas thoroughly.
- Add almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt to mashed bananas and mix well.
- Stir in oats, chopped dates, walnuts, and cinnamon until combined.
- Press mixture firmly and evenly into prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Cool completely in pan before cutting into 12 bars.
- Store in airtight container for up to 5 days.
