Homemade Protein Bars
Ingredients
- 2 cups Rolled oats
- 1 cup (100g) Vegan protein powder Vanilla or chocolate.
- 3/4 cup Natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup Maple syrup
- 1/4 cup Almond milk
- 1/2 cup Dark chocolate chips Vegan.
- 3 tbsp Ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Steps
- Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix oats, protein powder, and flax meal.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, warm peanut butter and maple syrup for 30 seconds.
- Add almond milk and vanilla to peanut butter mixture.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Press mixture firmly into prepared pan.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
- Cut into 12 bars and wrap individually.
- Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for 3 months.
