Recovery Protein Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) Black beans Drained and rinsed.
- 1/2 cup (50g) Vegan protein powder Chocolate flavor.
- 1/2 cup Cacao powder
- 1/2 cup Maple syrup
- 1/4 cup Coconut oil Melted.
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Dark chocolate chips Vegan.
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper.
- Blend black beans, protein powder, cacao powder, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly fudgy.
- Cool completely in pan before cutting into 9 squares.
- Store in airtight container for up to 5 days.
- High protein dessert perfect for recovery.
