Ingredients

  • 2 cups Frozen cherries Tart cherries preferred.
  • 1 large Frozen banana
  • 2 tbsp Almond butter
  • 1 scoop (25g) Vegan protein powder Vanilla flavor.
  • 1.5 cups Almond milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup Optional.
  • 1 tbsp Sliced almonds For topping.

Steps

  1. Add frozen cherries, banana, almond butter, protein powder, almond milk, and vanilla to blender.
  2. Blend on high for 60 seconds until smooth.
  3. Taste and add maple syrup if desired for sweetness.
  4. Pour into a large glass.
  5. Top with sliced almonds.
  6. Consume within 30 minutes post-workout.
  7. Tart cherries help reduce muscle soreness and inflammation.
