Cherry Almond Recovery Shake
Ingredients
- 2 cups Frozen cherries Tart cherries preferred.
- 1 large Frozen banana
- 2 tbsp Almond butter
- 1 scoop (25g) Vegan protein powder Vanilla flavor.
- 1.5 cups Almond milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp Maple syrup Optional.
- 1 tbsp Sliced almonds For topping.
Steps
- Add frozen cherries, banana, almond butter, protein powder, almond milk, and vanilla to blender.
- Blend on high for 60 seconds until smooth.
- Taste and add maple syrup if desired for sweetness.
- Pour into a large glass.
- Top with sliced almonds.
- Consume within 30 minutes post-workout.
- Tart cherries help reduce muscle soreness and inflammation.
